Thank you for helping me make the choice on if I should adopt a boxer or go to a breeder. Sometimes the most simple of words can make all the difference.
I have never been so moved by a video in my life. I have a boxer of my own that is the love of my life. Her name is Atticus. I call boxers the furry clowns of the doggie world. I run a doggie hotel in Ca. and am starting to volunteer at Boxer Rescue LA. We have so many boxers from BRLA that come to our facility for daycare that I have created specialized play groups lovingly called the "boxer mafia". Thank you for creating such a beautiful video to make people aware of the need to find homes for all of these wonderful dogs. To everyone reading this: Adopt a boxer, it will change your life, you will never find a more blessed companion. You will be truly blessed one.
i had adopted a rescue dog who turned out to be nevous and afraid
but we knew that it wasnt his falt but we had to give him up when he got jelous of my little sister and he would nip at her but little did we know the humae sosiety had put him to sleep..... :( but i then rescued a cat named magic... :) chek her out in a movie i made called qween magic..x:)
My husband and I rescued a brindle boxer back in 2000 he had been very badly treated. Sadly today he has passed away, however, he brought so much happiness into our lives he will be so missed. They are such beautiful dogs with fanstastic personalities our boxer was more like a human than a dog, very sensitive and loving how on earth could people hurt them !
I just want to say i love boxer ever since i met one. it took a long time to get one but i Rescued Tyson from a shelter then i rescued a female Roxy roo who was just 6 months old crazy but a fun dog. now i am Fostering a Male named Subi. not to mention my Tyson was used as Pit Bull bait. it was so sad i dont think i have pic of his war wonds but he has the scars to share. but i would never trade any of them. i am halping Subi out and if it works we will keep him too. and i have a 5 month old baby and she loves all of them gose to show that babies do love there pets.
i cant believe that such a gentle bred can become so abused, i have a 3year old bitch and i cant seperate her from my one year old daughter they are so gentle its just not right
I broke down as soon as I started watching. I have a 2yr old white boxer called Henry and I cannot understand how anyone could harm any animal. Henry is part of my family and always will be. Pets definately are for life!!!!!
Powerful message. I hope everyone who watches this will consider a rescue for their next family pet. They have so much to offer, regardless of the breed. Most have been through horrible lives but still have the ability and willingness to love unconditionally. Adopting a rescued Great Dane changed my life. These animals are not "property", they are beautiful souls with feelings and emotions. They deserve our love and care. Please spay or neuter your pets!!
Wonderful video - unfortunately - the pictures in this video can been seen for any and all breeds -just head to your local shelter or pound. I transport for rescues everyweekend - just finished one this morning for a retriever / chow mix that was to be PTS - but got rescued - please - please - please - don't buy from a breeder or pet store - until there are none left in shelters - adopt a dog - whether it be a boxer - or another deserving breed - and please - SPAY and NEUTER your pets - end the suffering for so many. Great montage.
This is such a touching story. Made me cry. It's so depressing how people can be so heartless and have no pity on living things. I have 15 animals, whom I absolutly adore, love, and IS FAMILY! They mean the absolute would to me. I would do anything for my Pets(family).
I was thinking about getting a boxer puppy, I have a 2 year old white boxer her name is Bella and she lives up to her name, beautiful, we love her very much we can not comprehend how any one could possibly miss treat such a loyal, loving trust worthy friend. We are now looking to give a new friend a chance. THANK YOU FOR MAKING US AWARE.
I'm the very proud owner of a rescue boxer named Beth. She has enhanced our lives so much. How people can be so cruel is beyond me I cryed when I watched that video When I look at my lovely pet I thank God we can share our love with her.
i am the proud owner of my 7th boxer. im still crying over your video and will seriously consider rescuing a boxer so my beautiful 7 month old boxer boy will have a buddy! xxxxxx

I also raise boxers..and recently was given a boxer no one wants, who has been abused...this is all new to me, but would like to foster, or be a boxer rescue home...their the greatest dogs I've ever had...
Ive just watched this video & yes i to had tears streaming, i had a boxer bich 4yrs old & she died for no reason i couldnt believe it, i miss her so much, she bought so much life, love & laughter to my home. To see the state of some of these dogs is heart breaking, i dont know how people could do this to a dog. I will be looking at the rescue dogs that need a loving home. i just wanted to say what a wonderful and heart melting video, ive had boxers for years and would never or could dream of treating my babies like those people have, these dogs whether male or female are one truly special breed and my life is not complete without one and neiher is my daughters as our dog is her best friend they are like 2 peas in a pod and if i can be of any help to give another a home then i am more than happy to help sian xx
I don't understand why anyone would treat their pets like that, its so awful to see and really upset me. I lost my boxer Kier to cancer last year and to this day i miss her so much. I would love to own a boxer again.
This is fantastic. I have a 6 year old bitch and have recently lost my 10 year old dog. I just wish I could personally meet the bastards who mistreat dogs. I would show them what real cruelty is!!
i cant see for my tears .how do i find a recue dog pls my max left us 3 weeks ago and we are lost without him.he had heart failure but was treat for 8 and half years like a king
Oh My Goodness, what an evocative video and piece of music, I'm sat here sobbing and my rescuse boxer has just come and given me a big slobbery kiss, he looked very much like the malnourised dogs in the video when he came home with me, 6 months on he is a completely different dog, yes he still has lots of behaviour and health problems but he now has a wonderful sparkle in his eyes and a bright shiny coat. He was a victim of domestic violence and recieved beatings before he was thrown onto the streets. I have rebuilt his trust in women and brought out his playful side although is is still very very wary of men. I love him more than anything and cannot understand why or how someone treated my boy so badly, he has SO much to give and I only hope that i can put all of his deamons to rest so he can become the gorgeous boy is was meant to be. People need to be educated to look after their pets properly, if not harder penalties need to be introduced.
All breeders should be forced to watch this 'Clockwork Orange' style. I admire people who love their dogs and realise they cannot give them what they need, but those who abandon their dogs out of ignorance and selfishness make me sick!

ME and my wife have 4 boxers that live in our house it makes me verry upset to see all of these poor puppys the way were treated if i can help in any way please email me. poor puppys
Oh my goodness, couldn't help but cry over how these wonderful animals are being mistreated. We just adopted a female boxer from a rescue in Az and what a blessing she has been. Our other boxer is a white male. We got him because the people that breeded their boxers didn't want whites. They were going to kill them.
I just can't imagine looking into Maverick and Madisons faces and seeing the love they have and thinking about them being abused or starved. When looking at these images all I could think about is my dogs and how lucky they are and how blessed people are to have Boxers or other pets in thier lives. hi im new to the websidte and wanted to say that that video was beutiful it brought a tear to my eye.
i have a 6yrold boxer boy called naz and he is like one of the children our kids love him more then the world and he loves them.
my parents took a boxer boy off the street that wasnt being looked after properly. sadly we lost him. i loved him dearly he was my best friend! i cryed many tears over losing angus an still think about him everyday!he was perfect in every single way! im now 18 and own my very own boxer girl molly! love her more than anythin shes my little star!
I have just lost my beloved boxer, she was nearly 14. She had a good life and we all love and miss her so much. I have shed many tears since she died of Friday and certainly cried over this video, how can people be so cruel to such lovely dogs
it upset me to watch the video. We lost our rescue boy Bailey to a grade 3 mass cell tumour 2 weeks ago he would have been 10 in September. We got him from(SBC) four and a half years ago, for company for our other boxer Becky who is 6 they were the best of pals.He was the first male we have had and he was like a shadow to me . We all miss him very much and the house is a quieter place without him, hopefully in time we will think about another rescue "babe" to bring home and love.xx
made me cry, not ashamed to say, I live with two wonderful boxers, can not believe how people can treat such a beautiful animal this way.
Thank you for making us aware of what happens to those beautiful babies.
Brought tears to my eyes, a very catching video. Well done Nicky. Made me realise what a good home my 9yr old boxer Chester has. He's our best buddy and is loved very much. We are also hoping to rehome another boxer quite soon.
Nicky
My heart is broken after watching that video, I have a Boxer called Zak he is only 8 months old and I love him so much, I can not believe that people can be so cruel and greedy.
Nicky...
Thankyou so much for opening peoples eyes about the plight that some Boxers need.
Everyday Boxers come into rescue through no fault of their own. Everybody loves a cute puppy but they soon grow up & some people cant cope with a full grown Boxer (one reason for coming into Rescue)
This breed will always give you unconditional love, I have a little deaf girl from rescue (LETBR) & as the video says, 'this is not an illness'. They are still very much trainable with sign language & reward you with so much pleasure.
The cruelty casses are just too much to bare but unfortunately, still goes on.
If you are thinking of getting a dog then please consider rescue, you will not be dissapointed.
Tracey- May 27, 2006
What a shame such a video has to be made in the first place, people can be so cruel, we have a three year old called george, who thinks he is human. we would not swop him for the world, we are looking for girlie soulmate for him. it will just mean trying to get a seat on the sofa will be a little harder!
Yes it made me cry one of them looked like our old girl rosie nearly 11 made us realise what a good home she came to with us and just how spoilt, treasured and loved she is cannot imagine life without a boxer hope she has got a couple more years yet. When that time comes and we feel ready we will be ringing Dawn even more so after seeing this(no puppies its supply and demand!) not when dogs like these need homes
I lost my eldest boxer Rosie last week and i just sat and watched this and cried my eyes out. We all know first hand how much unconditional love these dogs give and to see them treated like that is heartbreaking. We're hoping to adopt a boxer soon
Brought tears to my eyes excellent video . I can't understand how anyone could let a boxer go , my old boy is nearly 10 and one of the most precious things to me . Would like to adopt soon.
That video is really great, and sends the message out straight, we have rescued all our boxers we have had over the many years, and they have brought us lots of love, and i cant believe any one could treat any animal like that, especially the cute and big brown eyes of a boxer. we have 1 brindle bitch, molly, 7. and 1 male, white and deaf, Busta, 4. I think everyone who has given their boxer away or abandoned their boxer, should watch this video. And anyone wanting to rescue should definatly do so, because its the most rewarding thing any one could do. xxx
What an amazing video, it has brought tears to my eyes how can anyone be so cruel. The music was perfect. We have 2 adorable boxers Jolie aged 3 and Nelson at just 8 months they have both been a handful at times but you have a dog for life, can not imagine life without them. Well done it needs to be on the TV its brilliant
Well done Nicky, it certainly makes you stop and think. It brings tears to your eyes (trust me - it takes a lot to make me cry) but unfortunately we see this on a daily basis and I would ask anyone considering a rescue to think very carefully that they can offer a forever loving home so that these babies that have been let down so badly by "humans" (term used loosely) never go into rescue again. It is us that are lucky to share our lives with them all - we choose them, they don't choose us but once in our lives the joy we share is beyond words.

That is a really hard hitting video, exactly what is needed. The song that went with it was a great choice and they had me in tears. We got our Ellie from boxer rescue 5 mnths ago and she is a complete joy to our family, we couldnt imagine our life without her. Keep up the good work. xxxx
Oh my goodness!!! How can anyone treat these BEAUTIFUL animals in such a horrific way??? We have a beautiful 2 year old boxer and we can't imagine our lives without this wonderful girl. She has truely completed our family. Since discovering the boxer rescue website we have a desire to adopt one of them, but life doesn't allow for 2 small boys and 2 crazy boxers!! We send our love and prayers to all those who give up so much of themselves to give a life back to one of the best breeds of dogs you'll ever meet.XXX
sorry, i couldnt watch it all !! This certainly gets the point across. To all those people out there wanting a dog........ please try for a rescue, i have two and they are the best companions you could ever wish for.
Oh my god! Here i am sat at work crying my eyes out at my desk along with my colleages. These sick people need locking up and treated the same way as they have treated these beautiful animals!
i can't believe that people can be so cruel to these wonderful creatures that only want to give love and be loved, i wuldnt be without kibo, and would love to give another dog a loving home one day, it's certainly made me think about rehoming a rescue dog when i have more time!it makes me so angry that any of these beautiful dogs have been hurt and makes me cry at the thought of the one's that still need help! thank you to all of you that are helping!
how on earth folks can live with themselves with the way they have treated some of these dogs i'll never know.i'm so gutted by this it made me and my daughter cry.i hope they all find happy and caring homes.big kisses to them all.xxxxxx
May everyone who is a member of boxer rescues in any capacity, from intake coordinators, to fosters, to the vets who help us and most importantly those who ultimatly provide a forever home to these precious bundles of love: YOU are the Angels in these boxer's lives. Bless you all!
That brought tears to my eyes , it makes you realise that these great dogs are always the ones to suffer at the hands of cruel, greedy, ignorant people .But it also makes you realise that there are good people out there that are doing their best to help Boxers.I agree that should be on telly.Well done to you
My sincere thanks and gratitude to Nicky who made this video for us.
We are constantly looking for the right forever loving homes for so many beautiful boxers, it is never the dogs fault that he/she needs a new home!!
Our aim within this rescue is to make 100% sure that the next home is the RIGHT home for that dog....a loving warm forever home!!
We can all LOVE our dogs, but LOVE alone is NEVER enough.........
Please think on before you go down the road of buying a puppy, there are so many beautiful boxer babes out there that need you from RESCUE.
Dawn Nicholls
(Linclonshire, Essex & Trent Boxer Rescue)
Hi Nicky,
Your video has really got to me. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks. It really brings it home to you when you see some of the pitiful looking babes, and all through no fault of their own.
Buster & Bruna are laying beside me snoring their heads off, after a good run and a chicken dinner. Thank God we adopted them and thank god for everyone else who has adopted. I really hope this video makes people think about adopting such a wonderful breed, who at the end of the day just want to be loved as much as they love us humans.
Well done you!
Love Lynne, Buster & Bruna

WOW! I dont get upset easily but that video made me sniffle like a child. We have adopted a boxer from boxer rescue(LETBR) Our Marley Mo is a star and we wouldnt be without him, he gave us a rocky start but love is an underestimate in the way we feel about him now. God Bless all involved in Boxer Rescue, and to all of you that give theses babies another chance in life, they deserve soo much. Boxers are in a class of their own, they love and deserve to be loved. Thankyou for creating this video, I really hope this opens peoples eyes to how wonderful Boxers really are.
Fantastic, it's a shame you can't get it on the telly. ally
Adopt a rescue boxer
Many Boxers end up in rescues or pounds ...
Many Boxers end up in rescues or pounds because their owners do little research into the breed, maybe you are planning to breed from your bitch? do you know were your puppies will be going? will you be able to to keep in contact with all the owners? how do you know one of your puppies will not end up like one of these dogs? used and abused or thrown away when their new owners are either bored or cant control a full grown boxer.
Many boxers are just dumped because they are no longer needed as a breeding-money making machine....
But luckily, Boxer rescues are there to pick up the pieces of other peoples greed...

I have just lost my beloved boxer, she was nearly 14. She had a good life and we all love and miss her so much. I have shed many tears since she died of Friday and certainly cried over this video, how can people be so cruel to such lovely dogs
barbara - Jun 22, 2006 1:00 PM
Ihave 2 boxers myself and have just lost one to illness.I would so much like to rescue one now.
Lorraine - Jun 22, 2006 11:25 AM
it upset me to watch the video.
Carol - Jun 22, 2006 9:52 AM
This is one of the reasons I decided not to breed. We have 5 rescues and it is a very comfortable feeling knowing we made a difference in their lives.
Alison - Jun 21, 2006 7:32 AM
made me cry, not ashamed to say, I live with two wonderful boxers, can not believe how people can treat such a beautiful animal this way.
Thank you for making us aware of what happens to those beautiful babies.
Tracy - Jun 19, 2006 10:00 AM
Brought tears to my eyes, a very catching video. Well done Nicky. Made me realise what a good home my 9yr old boxer Chester has. He's our best buddy and is loved very much. We are also hoping to rehome another boxer quite soon.

Nicky
My heart is broken after watching that video, I have a Boxer called Zak he is only 8 months old and I love him so much, I can not believe that people can be so cruel and greedy.
Many thanks for making the video.

so sad a video but maybe will help some people who just give up on there dogs i have a 4year boxer
brenda - May 30, 2006 1:36 PM

What a shame such a video has to be made in the first place, people can be so cruel, we have a three year old called george, who thinks he is human. we would not swop him for the world, we are looking for girlie soulmate for him. it will just mean trying to get a seat on the sofa will be a little harder!
Heather and john - May 20, 2006 11:52 PM
Yes it made me cry one of them looked like our old girl rosie nearly 11 made us realise what a good home she came to with us and just how spoilt, treasured and loved she is cannot imagine life without a boxer hope she has got a couple more years yet. When that time comes and we feel ready we will be ringing Dawn even more so after seeing this(no puppies its supply and demand!) not when dogs like these need homes
Charlie - May 20, 2006 12:08 PM
I lost my eldest boxer Rosie last week and i just sat and watched this and cried my eyes out. We all know first hand how much unconditional love these dogs give and to see them treated like that is heartbreaking. We're hoping to adopt a boxer soon
joanna - May 20, 2006 6:32 AM
Brought tears to my eyes excellent video . I can't understand how anyone could let a boxer go , my old boy is nearly 10 and one of the most precious things to me . Would like to adopt soon.
Lauren - May 19, 2006 2:39 PM
That video is really great, and sends the message out straight, we have rescued all our boxers we have had over the many years, and they have brought us lots of love, and i cant believe any one could treat any animal like that, especially the cute and big brown eyes of a boxer. we have 1 brindle bitch, molly, 7. and 1 male, white and deaf, Busta, 4. I think everyone who has given their boxer away or abandoned their boxer, should watch this video. And anyone wanting to rescue should definatly do so, because its the most rewarding thing any one could do. xxx
michelle - May 19, 2006 2:05 PM
What an amazing video, it has brought tears to my eyes how can anyone be so cruel. The music was perfect. We have 2 adorable boxers Jolie aged 3 and Nelson at just 8 months they have both been a handful at times but you have a dog for life, can not imagine life without them. Well done it needs to be on the TV its brilliant
Sarah - May 18, 2006 11:47 AM

Keep up the good work. xxxx
samantha - May 17, 2006 10:47 AM
Oh my goodness!!! How can anyone treat these BEAUTIFUL animals in such a horrific way??? We have a beautiful 2 year old boxer and we can't imagine our lives without this wonderful girl. She has truely completed our family. Since discovering the boxer rescue website we have a desire to adopt one of them, but life doesn't allow for 2 small boys and 2 crazy boxers!! We send our love and prayers to all those who give up so much of themselves to give a life back to one of the best breeds of dogs you'll ever meet.XXX
Marie - May 17, 2006 9:48 AM
sorry, i couldnt watch it all !! This certainly gets the point across. To all those people out there wanting a dog........ please try for a rescue, i have two and they are the best companions you could ever wish for.
Donna - May 17, 2006 9:04 AM
Oh my god! Here i am sat at work crying my eyes out at my desk along with my colleages. These sick people need locking up and treated the same way as they have treated these beautiful animals!
joanne - May 16, 2006 2:57 PM
i can't believe that people can be so cruel to these wonderful creatures that only want to give love and be loved, i wuldnt be without kibo, and would love to give another dog a loving home one day, it's certainly made me think about rehoming a rescue dog when i have more time!it makes me so angry that any of these beautiful dogs have been hurt and makes me cry at the thought of the one's that still need help! thank you to all of you that are helping!
jeanette - May 16, 2006 2:46 PM
how on earth folks can live with themselves with the way they have treated some of these dogs i'll never know.i'm so gutted by this it made me and my daughter cry.i hope they all find happy and caring homes.big kisses to them all.xxxxxx

May everyone who is a member of boxer rescues in any capacity, from intake coordinators, to fosters, to the vets who help us and most importantly those who ultimatly provide a forever home to these precious bundles of love: YOU are the Angels in these boxer's lives. Bless you all!
carrie - May 16, 2006 12:35 PM
That brought tears to my eyes , it makes you realise that these great dogs are always the ones to suffer at the hands of cruel, greedy, ignorant people .But it also makes you realise that there are good people out there that are doing their best to help Boxers.I agree that should be on telly.Well done to you
Dawn - May 16, 2006 11:40 AM
My sincere thanks and gratitude to Nicky who made this video for us.
We are constantly looking for the right forever loving homes for so many beautiful boxers, it is never the dogs fault that he/she needs a new home!!
Our aim within this rescue is to make 100% sure that the next home is the RIGHT home for that dog....a loving warm forever home!!
We can all LOVE our dogs, but LOVE alone is NEVER enough.........
Please think on before you go down the road of buying a puppy, there are so many beautiful boxer babes out there that need you from RESCUE.

Hi Nicky,
Your video has really got to me.
