I wonder what "Comment" Doogie would make....hmmmm.....wonder what he is thinking of all this from his side of the Rainbow Bridge. Bet he can't wait to meet Tammy up there some day....sure he'll be waiting for her when she cross that bridge. Myself, I'm with her. How long should she have stood there waiting for the officer to show up? How much longer would satisfy those that criticize Tammy for not being able to tolerate one more breath of pain for Doogie. It is NEVER wrong to hurt a dog. It would have been immoral for her to have returned Doogie to his legal owners. I loved the video slide show. Beautifully done!

I would have done the same thing.All animals are Gods creations I believe that once you take a pet its for life.Any one that does that to any animal should be put away for a very long time and pay a very large fine.Tammy is wonderful good for her
I would have probably done the same. The difference. I would have taken pictures and called animal control for the area insisting on animal cruelty charges. Once the animal was taken into custody, I would have adopted. I volunteer at an animal shelter and see this type of neglect frequently. We need to educate our young people to respect all life.

I'm a long time supporter of Tammy and believe in everything she has done, and will continue being supportive of her as well. If only there were more people like Tammy, this world would be a better place!
Tammy my heart goes out to you. You are one in a million! This whole situation is unbelievable to think that you are being prosecuted and those people who committed this horrible crime are free. You are being sacrificed for a greater good and I must believe that the attention that has come your way will bring about change. we admire your courage and wish you the best.
Being a victim of horrendous child abuse, I think it makes me more than qualified to say that I'm a sucker for kids, old folks (I am one) and ANIMALS. I can't stand to see any of the above abused. I have a neighbor who is a drunk and he leaves his little doxies out in the cold for over 2 hours. Do you know what it is like to hear them cry in pain and you can do nothing more than call the Animal Shelter who takes long past that time to show up? It was the only thing I could do as I am confined to a wheelchair. I am behind Tammy 100%. She did the right thing! Way to Go Girl! For those who think animals have no soul..Think again. God said in His word that everything that has life has breath and that means soul because he breathed life into all of his creation, animals and humans. alike..No exception! The Justice system leaves a lot to be desired; but that is another Story! Keep on Doing what God would expect us to do to protect the defenseless animals and humans of this world!

An excellent film slideshow which shows the tremendous act of compassion (not criminal act!) that Tammy Grimes carried out to save this poor dog, keep up the great work on behalf of this amazing rescuer because the day we become complacent about animal cruelty is the day we are no longer humane, thank you! Amazing song for an amazing act of kindness that any normal minded human being would have done without hesitation - if we are guilty of caring - if we are guilty of SAVING LIFE then I am proud to say I am ' GUILTY ' too ! What is wrong with the system - a crime to save a life ? They call it theft to take a tortured life and nurse it back to health ! This judge and the prosecutors need to go after the abusers - not the carers !
