What a beautitul story. My daughter was born just over a year ago with CHD and DS. I have read the percentages of terminated pregnancies when the diagnosis of DS is made and it astounds me. I would not change Emily for anything in the world. God knows where best to place his special children. Thank you for such a beautiful reminder of that.
Your family is beautiful!! What a wonderful job you did putting this together. My daughter was born with several CHDs, and had OHS at 6 days old...termination was brought up many times...I'm so thankful for each and every day that I have with her...as I can see you are as well with your sweet baby boy. May God bless you and your family always!!
This is, eh, I guess a cousin that doesn't keep in touch very much (Mara, Nessa's daughter)-- Tripp is so precious! The family is soooo lucky he's so strong. Freakin' cried. Goddess bless!
Love & hugs,
Mara
Thanks for your montage it was great! I don't have to tell you how blessed you are. I also have a son with DS He is 4 and we would not change anything about him for he is who God created him to be!
What a wonderful testimony in faith Tripp and your family have given to the world. My heart is full of joy to see that our gracious God brought precious Tripp to such a loving wonderful sister, parents and family. May God bless, keep and protect each of you all the days of your lives.. In the name of our loving healing Savior Jesus..
What a strong and brave little man you have! I am also the mama of a heart baby who had OHS @ 2 weeks old. It never ceases to amaze me how things have a way of working out perfectly.
Your son looks Identical to mine when he was born. My son will be 5 in August and also has DS. They are very loving children and even though at 22 when i had him i was scared...I made it through the rough spots and i wouldnt change any of it. I am from Canada but would love to know what the US offers for children with our condition. If you could let me know that would be great! Hope all is well with your Family. God Bless

In addition to an extra chromosome, Tripp was born with a rare, fatal condition called a Pulmonary Artery Sling in which the pulmonary artery is wrapped all the way around the trachea. Although surgery might correct the condition, Tripp coded twice and was revived before it was discovered. The process of Tripp's miraculous rescue and transformation of our lives thereafter are testaments to God's power.
