Over 58 years ago, I was one of those CHD (Ebstein's Anomaly) babies taken away from my mother and rushed (by car) to a leading childrens hospital for 2 weeks of observation. Throughout my life I have struggled to maintain a balance between a sense of our mortality (our little angels) and the urgency of being a "warrior" for life. To the parents of CHD children, I would say help our child to strike a healthy balance, so that however many days they have been granted may be inspiring ones.
Thanks for including our little CHD Survivor, Casey Lynn Bauer. I admire the things you are doing to help these precious little ones out. To all those whom haven't been through this battle with a loved one. Its hard to understand how something such as this could happen to you. until it does happen to you. and then your whole life will change and your entire heart will pour out unto GOD and the whole world to please send to us the knowledge and the wisdom and the understanding in finding a cure, a MIRACLE. a chance at life to these baby's who are born with a CHD. May GOD hear every prayer lifted up to him. May the world listen not only with their ears, But with their HEART! Please Help educate one another about CHD. Let the silence be broken now. Speak up for these children are Our Future. without them we have no future.

My son passed away March 6, 2006 from CHD- Atrioventricle Defect. He was 3 months old. We need more federal funding
for research into CHD.

this is so sad my cousin died on left heart syndroem in 2004
rip to all the angels that have died due to heart defects ! x
