Tonya, this is a wonderful tribute to your dad. You dont remember me but about 25 years ago you and mom and dad visited your dads old friends in Derry Pa. You grew up to be a beautiful lady. Me and Wayne knew your dad most of his life. I was shocked to find out he had passed on. Michael and Nikki and their mom was also part of our lives and i often think about all of you. I can tell you from my heart that he loved his kids with all his heart. We loved him dearly and are very saddened by his death. We had no way of contacting anyone or to get in touch. Ill keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Kathy
As your mom, I am most proud of your sensitivity and your capacity to feel and love - openly. This video of your dad has made ME cry a thousand oceans - of joy - that Rick found someone to love him like you do - unconditionally - something he craved for many years. In you he found a child - that no one could wall away from him. A lost man for many years - he searched two jems he could not reach in his other children - nikki and michael. I have a million stories - and I have a hundred photos. I have photos of Rick and his other children for someone someday. The video made me cry tears of sorrow - I never stopped loving your dad, as you know, but I had to leave in the physical sense - he knew that as did I - and yet we were always joined in our way - and he knew that. I'll never regret my time with Rick nor your time with him. Tears of sorrow, that such a man as he so filled with emotion left the world in the way that he did. You did him proud. Love, Mom
Tonia,
I had a dream about my dad the night before my brother told me he had sent me your email. I woke up realizing I no pictures of him or no way to remember him. He just seemed like a distant memory. I just watched the video and I can't tell you how much seeing those pictures means to me. Thank you.
Nikki
