what a beautiful boy you have, hes one tough cookie
glad hes proving the doctors wrong
my wee girl was born at 25 weeks and spent her first 10 months in hospital. she had 2 ivh, one grade 3 and one grade 4. i was told at 5 months she wouldnt last the week. i was then told she would never see her 3rd birthday. shes now 2 years 8 months, shes not going anywhere! shes severe bpd and cerebral palsy but one smile makes my life worth while.
one day i will get round to making her a montage

I only got to see a little of the video thought you would like to know that it is stalling out at the point in which your tubes were tied...would love to see the rest!
Your baby and your family have been through so much. I pray for families like yours and mine who have been through life's hardest challenges. We would give anything to take their place. But, they are so strong and so amazing all on their own. Thanks for sharing. You can watch my little guy's story at www.mistergavin.blogspot.com
I am really touched by your video clip. And that i will be organizing an organ donation awareness campaign here in Malaysia. Could there be any ways that you could send me your inspiring video clip? My email is <kgs> <underscore> <six three one three> @hotmail.com It would be fantastic if you can help me. And it's my very hope that i can make my campaign a success. Please!!!
Bless this family. I can relate to a lot of what you all have gone through. Try to keep it together and know that God is in total control. Your little man is truly what i call a preemie warrior. If you would like for him to be added to our site, let me know. www.preemiegroup.com is my favoritie support group. Prayers and hugs here.
Dusti,
I was so glad to see that your lil man got his shunt! That will start him on that uphill climb of the mountain that he faces and before you know it he will reach the top with no trouble at all! He's looking good! I know it's tough right now...I have been there and lived that! But as crazy as it sounds, it does get better. Not necessairly easier...but it does get better! You can email me anytime that you need a shoulder and I will be glad to help you as best I can through all the ups and downs of this journey! Keeping a journal during this time will also help in your fight for sanity...you can tell him all the things you want him to know and save it for him for when he is older! :0) Belive it or not....this honestly does help! Good luck to you all and God Bless...I am here for ya if you need me! Don't hesitate to reach out! Kym
Also...I have to say that it is amazing that you chose one of Matthew's FAV SONGS as part of your Montage. He calls this the "Pooh" song! Another one of his favorite's is "The Tigger Song",mine too as a matter of fact! You will see the world in a totally different light with this child...trust me! And you know what?.You will be amazed at what you learn! The greatest love that a parent can get comes from their child. Those that are blessed with the child that has disabilities is Quadriple Blessed! They just don't realize it in the beginning through the trials, doctors and hospital procedures. These kids are so tough and so amazing! They come through things that we cannot imagine.!Usually with no complaints! Matthew has had a few shunt replacements...and when he wakes he wants the TB(TV),Video's,Games...and FOOD! They are soooo amazing! Just fight right along with him...treat him as you would any other child and you will all be just fine! Feel free to write me anytime! I've been there! GBY
Oh Bless your heart!!!! How old is he now!? I remember those days...it is a day by day process that's for sure! Matthew was born at 30 wks. 3lbs 5 oz and had a Grade4 IVH at day 4...I remember all the spinal taps...but he never cried..ever! But I did! Lots! He Your son may very well be mentally retarded along with many other things that you may aquire along the way...but here's the thing...and you have to think about this takes a while ...sounds weird...but is so true..."he will be the biggest joy and greatest heartache of your life"...The person that told me that made me very ANGRY at the time....but 19 Years later...I believe every word of it! Matthew has taught me so much more than I could ever teach him! He is awesome...he is fun...he is always happy...doesn't hate...just loves..AMAZING!!! Wouldn't it be great if everyone could be like that??? To see people as people...with no faults...no color's...no religions? I wouldn't trade a day with him for anything! God Bless You!
Amazing~ the power of God and faith and prayers...and a mothers touch. I will pray for all of you. What an amazing little fighter, and what an incredible journey youve had to face. Keep your faith in God- I could see his hands holding both of you in that last post-op picture! Ill check back for updates. Tammy

Sacarii is a miriacle baby, my water broke an placenta began to peel at 15 weeks. he was born @27 weeks, w/very imature lungs his lungs tried to stop working even with the vent and he developed a grade 4 brain bleed in which half of his brain on the left side has died an been absorbed into his system, he almost didnt make it an this is a brief story of our journey the past 9 weeks in the nicu an th eweeks that remain there

My mama whispered in my ear every day,"You fight baby" an so I did.
This is a montage of Sacarii Thomas Mich...
This is a montage of Sacarii Thomas Michael Jr.'s fight for his life during the first 2 months. he was diagnosed with IVH grade 4. my son has lost half of his brain on the left side an it was filling up with cerebral spinal fluid so they tapped his head with a needle till he was stable enough for a resavoir, then when he hit 4lb's he was able to get a shunt. he has a high likely hood of being mentally retarded, an cerebral palsy. he is currently on meds for seizures. The first 2 months was a very eventfull time, that brought lots of sorrow, anger, and sadness. but after the 2 months of Dr's an medicine, it was everyones prayers to God that brought us threw it. an I have shared his story an his pictures this whole time. but i wanted to bring it together an put it in one piece. I will never forget how lucky i am to be blessed with this miracle. he is a little ham, an u have to love those steroid produced cheeks!
