Donna,
My daughter,Alicia, helped you by fostering Pit Bulls. My grandson is in the video with one of the Pit Bulls they fostered.Alicia's love of Pit Bulls began when she witnessed Lady, a Pit Bull mix chained in the hot sun with no food or water while raising a litter of puppies.Alicia called the local humane society.Instead of sending a representative to investigate the abuse,an animal control officer was sent with orders to euthanize Lady and her puppies because they were Pit Bull mixes.Alicia cried and begged the officer to let her have Lady and the puppies until he took them from the back of his truck and handed them over to her. They were extremely malnourished, full of parasites and had the mange. Alicia nursed them to good health.Lady tested positive for heart worms.Alicia had her treated for heart worms and spayed. Lady was best friend and protector to Alicia and our grandson for 10 years.Alicia died in a car accident July 2009.Lady and our grandson live with us now

I am so impressed by the outpouring of love, care, & humanity that you have shown these beautiful animals. God has blessed the Pit Bulls who have found their way to you.

You have done a wonderful job putting this viedo together, every one has a bad judgement on the pitt bull breed. This just goes to show most are wrong. I have 2 at home now with my children and I wouldn't change a thing about either one of them. I love my dogs as if they were my children. . I have pictures of my children and dogs if you ever want to do another video.
Hi Donna, This was great! I truly enjoyed watching and it left me with a good feeling. I foster all breed/mixed breed for Operation C.A.R.E. in S.C.,right now I have a Pit Bull....She is a great ambassador for the breed....We are attempting to change my fathers prejudices against the Pit Bull....so far she is doing a great job!! Thanks for all you do for this misunderstood breed. Being in rescue ,I know what YOU do is incredibly hard. Keep up the great work! Angie
Dear Donna,
I have owned Pits for 23 years.... I got my first one for my son(he was 3 yrs), they became BROTHERS in the true since of the word. Yobie(the 4 legged son) would protect Roudy(the 2 legged son). They ate slept bathed and got into EVERY thing together. I thought Yobie was just that SPECIAL (he was) but through the years have come to realize that they all are that SPECIAL. Your montage really captures the TRUE PIT HEART. Thanks!!!!! Continued success with the rescue of these fine 4 legged people. YOU ROCK DONNA
Love, Teresa
I love the montage video that you did. Although I am with Small Paws Rescue which does bichon frise rescue and don't have a pitbull, I know that they like bichons are wonderful dogs. It just breaks my heart when I see pitbulls in the shelters because I know so many will not get out. Thanks for all you do for the breed. You have helped so many pits and have helped educate so many on the wonderful breed.
Absolutly wonderful Donna. Hopefully it will change someone's mind. I too am dedicated to save as many of these sweet dogs as possible. I just got my first pit foster and honeslty I cant see myself fostering or in the future adopting any other breed. They are a wonderful breed but sadly misunderstood. I would do anything for the breed and will fight BSL up to my final day. Thanks Donna, I really enjoyed it.
That was absolutely awsome. Great job Donna!!!! That portrays the true definition of a pit bull. The smartest and most loving animals I have ever come acroos. I admit I was skeptical before we got our first pit. I never was around one and only new what the media has told me. I am a changed person because of my pit. She is absolutely amazing. I will continue to try and save and protect these dogs as long as GOD will allow. They do not deserve the treatment they get and together we can make a difference. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart Donna for all you do and I am honored to know you. It brought tears to my eyes and I agree there are no bad dogs just owners. Once again that was beautiful.
This was so beautiful, i enjoyed it so much. You can see all the love and happiness in their eyes. I had tears in my eyes watching it. Very well done !!!I've never known a bad dog just bad owners!!
Absolutely Beautiful Donna! It made me cry! I wish that everyone could see how happy people are because they have had the chance to love & be loved by a Pit Bull!
